Partnering for Success: A Thanksgiving Reflection

Growing a business is tough. It’s even tougher if you are on your own. 

Luckily at Civille, we have an experienced leadership team that understands how to build a company with a customer-centric approach. But that alone doesn’t equate to success. 

Forming strategic partnerships is key to making your product more valuable to a larger set of clientele – in addition to gaining exposure to them. As Thanksgiving approaches, we wanted to highlight a few of the partners who stepped up right away to form meaningful relationships and integrate their tools with ours. 

Clio + Civille 

It’s hard not to be a fan of Clio. The brand is a titan in the legal industry and boasts a huge user base. It also hosts one of the largest tradeshows in legal that attracts lawyers, marketers, and more from all over the United States and Canada. 

Clio was also one of the first to the table to work on a meaningful integration with Civille. If you use Clio and have a Civille website, you can integrate the two so your leads flow directly into Clio Grow and Manage. This includes our custom web forms, AI chat tool, and even a scheduling tool that links seamlessly with your Gmail, Outlook, and Clio calendar.

Being a Clio-preferred website provider certainly has its advantages as well, with many Clio customers showing interest in our company and products. 

Smokeball + Civille

Our second meaningful integration was with Smokeball, an emerging CRM for law firms. The company was just opening up its integrations API when we made the connection – which was perfect timing. 

Today, Civille and Smokeball go perfectly together – with our custom forms, chat, and scheduler working seamlessly to ensure that firms don’t spend any extra time on client intake. The time and money savings make it a clear choice for the user of either product. 

Being a preferred Smokeball partner means we are prominent in the new Smokeball marketplace as well, gaining great exposure to the client base. 

Lawmatics + Civille 

As the CRM integrations continued to evolve, we connected with Lawmatics, and quickly synced our custom forms with their unique form tool within the CRM. Now, we are currently finishing off the full integration of forms, chat, and calendar tools to complete the powerful connection between Civille and Lawmatics.

In addition, watch out for an upcoming co-hosted webinar with Civille and Lawmatics discussing SEO and the edge that firms can get by syncing their website and CRM together – ala the Civille and Lawmatics connection. 

Law Ruler + Civille 

Rounding out the highlight of meaningful CRM integrations is Law Ruler, who was very early to work with us on connecting our web forms and the case management system. This early connection came through a mutual client who wanted a better way to sync their website leads with Law Ruler. Going with Civille for their new law firm website proved to be a winning strategy, as they were quickly able to streamline this previously manual process. 

Civille Integrates With All Legal CRMs

This quick integration with Law Ruler highlights the fact that at Civille, we are nimble enough to work with any CRM tool – and have also built one-off connections per client request with Practice Panther, Caret Legal, and many others. 

Smith.ai + Civille 

For many firms, there is a great need to outsource incoming (and outgoing) calls. But trusting a company to do that effectively is really the trick. Smith.ai does a good job of customizing their answering to the needs of the specific law firm. They also handle live chats. For that reason, we chose to partner with them as part of our Civille Lead Qualification Suite

With Smith handling the calls, you can qualify your leads no matter how your Civille website brings them in – via web form, chat, or call. This allows law firms to spend time doing what they care about most – handling client needs. 

Civille Partners with Other Call and Chat Solutions

In addition to Smith.ai, Civille also integrates with other call and chat solutions, and is building great partnerships with them for 2025. Some of these include PATLive, Juvo Leads, and Kenect.
